In this flexible work-from-home engagement (open to candidates in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, and Ireland), you will apply practical mastery of legal reasoning, issue-spotting, legal writing, document review to stress-test large language models, verify factual rigor, and build gold-standard evaluation datasets.

Key Duties & Project Scope

• Pinpoint misstatements of law, unsupported inferences, omitted material facts, and logical gaps in automated legal drafts.
• Exercise seasoned legal judgment across ambiguous fact patterns by weighing statutory authority, precedent, and counterarguments.
• Deliver structured redlines and analytical commentary that directly improve how frontier models handle legal workflows.
• Earned Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active, good-standing bar admission in at least one U.S. state or D.C.
• At least 3+ years of substantive post-J.D. legal practice.
• Strong legal reasoning, issue-spotting, legal writing, and document review skills.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience reviewing complex legal documents, identifying substantive errors, or evaluating competing legal arguments.
• Working knowledge of legal technology, AI-assisted research, or AI evaluation is a plus, but not required.
• Compensation Band: $100 - $170/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
