In this flexible work-from-home engagement (open to candidates in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, and Ireland), you will apply practical mastery of Python, Mechanical Engineering to stress-test large language models, verify factual rigor, and build gold-standard evaluation datasets.

Key Duties & Project Scope

• Create or modify geometry, meshes, materials, loads, contacts, constraints, and solver inputs.
• Perform structural, thermal, dynamic, fatigue, buckling, vibration, or related analyses.
• Use Python to automate model preparation, simulation, parameter sweeps, optimization, postprocessing, and verification.
• An MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; or
• A BS in Mechanical Engineering plus at least 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in mechanical design, analysis, simulation, testing, or R&D.
• Strong understanding of applied mechanics and mechanical-engineering fundamentals.
• Experience developing analytical, computational, or simulation-based engineering solutions.
