In this flexible work-from-home engagement (open to candidates in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, and Ireland), you will apply practical mastery of MusicXML to stress-test large language models, verify factual rigor, and build gold-standard evaluation datasets.

Key Duties & Project Scope

• Identify pitches, onsets, durations, rests, and re-articulations.
• Quantize events to the correct rhythmic grid.
• Apply accurate key signatures, accidentals, and enharmonic spelling.
• Generate or manipulate MusicXML.
• Use Python to inspect audio, analyze spectral information, and automate parts of the transcription workflow.
• Validate transcriptions through musical review, structured checks, or resynthesis.
• Strong Python programming ability.
