In this flexible work-from-home engagement (open to candidates in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, and Ireland), you will apply practical mastery of Radiographic Testing (RT) Interpretation, Ultrasonic Testing (UT/PAUT), MT/PT Indication Evaluation, ASME Section V & API 510/653 to stress-test large language models, verify factual rigor, and build gold-standard evaluation datasets.

Key Duties & Project Scope

• Apply advanced knowledge of weld defect acceptance criteria to make disposition recommendations on flaws and indications found in welds and components.
• Evaluate thermographic imagery or remote visual inspection (RVI) footage as needed, contributing expert judgement to diverse inspection scenarios.
• Produce clear, concise, and technically accurate reports that document findings, rationale, and recommended actions.
• Collaborate asynchronously with technical peers to resolve complex or ambiguous indications, enhancing overall project accuracy and reliability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project protocols based on industry best practices and evolving compliance criteria.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in Radiographic Testing (RT) Interpretation, Ultrasonic Testing (UT/PAUT), MT/PT Indication Evaluation, ASME Section V & API 510/653, Weld Defect Acceptance Criteria.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.

Candidate Requirements

• Expertise in making nuanced accept/reject determinations according to code-based acceptance criteria.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in authoring detailed technical documentation and delivering feedback to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct objective, quality-focused work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience evaluating thermography or RVI data is a plus.
• Compensation Band: $70 - $110/hour
