In this flexible work-from-home engagement (open to candidates in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, and Ireland), you will apply practical mastery of FreeCAD, Python, Parametric Modeling, CAD Validation to stress-test large language models, verify factual rigor, and build gold-standard evaluation datasets.

Key Duties & Project Scope

• Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure models reflect real-world mechanical design standards.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of CAD data, identifying and resolving discrepancies while maintaining detailed engineering documentation.
• Implement feedback and revisions efficiently to continually refine CAD deliverables in response to evolving project requirements.
• Optionally utilize Python scripting to automate modeling tasks or enhance model parametrization for increased efficiency and dataset richness.
• Document modeling workflows and decisions to ensure reproducibility and transparency in the dataset creation process.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in FreeCAD, Python, Parametric Modeling, CAD Validation, Mechanical Design, Industrial Engineering.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD validation and the application of GD&T for real-world manufacturing scenarios.
• Working knowledge of industrial engineering principles and common manufacturing processes.
